Time to split ✂️

Hello Reader,

it's time.

I have decided to split the business!

Macrame & Creative Business.

As a creative, I have hundreds of ideas!!!

I think it's a strength. I share lots of ideas with my students & clients. I keep making different things from products to content and offers for you. I love to create!

But it can be exhausting!!!!

It comes to a point when it gets too much and it's hard to know what to focus on. That is where I have been for the past few months- I lost my compass.

So last week, while I was making my largest macrame installation to date and spent 26 hrs knotting and around 15 hours community, I had the time to see and assess my business from the 'outside' and I realised that I needed a big Spring cleaning and go back to the core.

I looked at my values, mission, community, what brings me joy and what grows my business.

The best soul-lead solution I found was to split the business into two clear sections for two clear audiences: the women interested in macrame and the women interested in starting & growing a creative business.

This newsletter you are reading will be about all things macrame only send every two weeks. (I have so much I want to share including a new free challenge soon!)

For the women interested in the creative business, I have created a new IG account- @hellocreatives_academy - that will be active from the 2nd of May and it's aimed at women that want to start a creative business but feel overwhelmed or want to grow their business but they finding hard getting clear and actionable advice on how to grow a thriving business as a creative person.

A creative mind works differently.

For example: we have big dreams but often are unsure where to start to turn them into a reality or we are very good at multitasking but can't finish any tasks or focus on one project at a time.

I want to show you how you can have a thriving business even with a creative mind!

I want to break the typical stereotype of the

'starving artists'

'artists are not good with money'

'you can't charge so much- you do what you love'

If you are interested in all things creative business, you can join a new bi-weekly newsletter HERE.

I feel so much better to have made this decision- seems simple but change is never simple- it's a process.

It's the right one for me to grow and expand and take my business, and you, with me!

What do you think? Your feedback is invaluable, feel free to hit reply and let me know your thoughts.

Macrame Heart

Hello Reader, I hope you are doing okay. The past 10 days have been really hard for me as I have watched in horror as innocent children, and people, have been suffering and taken away too early. My wishes and prayers every single day is for peace. I felt hopeless and heartbroken. Then yesterday evening, as I was teaching macrame jewellery for three hours at my local College for Adults, finally my frustration and hopeless were replaced with creativity, human connections, mindfulness, purpose...

Hello Reader, I hope you are well. On Tuesday I was in London to host a mini-retreat with 4 other incredible women. We started with a cacao ceremony, followed by a break nourishing ourselves with plant-based food and finally an 'awaken your creativity' with the art of knotting' session. We created a safe space and within this beautiful container we were able to talk and release many emotions, the tears I shed were much needed and it was magical to be able to share them within the group and...
